Butterfly

Butterflies represent rebirth and new beginnings.

don’t stand still

be alert

flatter my path with the shift of wind and light

feather-touch my exterior

layers and edges

glue my spine to books in a swirl-blend of nectar

reveal the secret gift

verse and rhyme

and my fingers will slide along the surface of time

like Butterflies
