14K Gold Rare Besnednice Moldavite Pendant on Figaro Chain

The larger of our two pieces of Besnednice Moldavite, and with a bit more gold as well, the textures and ridges on this unique piece are more defined than they appear in the picture. Besnednice Moldavites are all rare and unique, and while they all hold the intense transformation inherent to Moldavite, I feel that the Besnednice pieces also bring a sense of wisdom gained through experience into the mix. Of course that's my personal take, it might have something completely different to say to you! :D

Besnednice Moldavite is rare and known for its unique and fantastic textures and shapes. The unique textures of Besnednice Moldavite were created by the wet and sandy conditions on the Besnednice field. Moldavites coming from this field are rare as the mine has been closed. This means that Besnednice Moldavites are largely only found in collections with no new pieces available on the market, making these increasingly rare.

Estimated to have occurred about 14 million years ago, Moldavite is believed to be created by a meteor that impacts with enough velocity that it vaporizes itself and surrounding material. These vapors are ejected back into the upper atmosphere where they solidify and rain back down as solids. Moldavite is only found in the Moldau River Valley in the Czech Republic. Moldavite is often times called the stone of transformation as it tends to bring positive life changes in a very accelerated manor. It also tends to affect the dreams by allowing you to access deep levels of your sub-conscious mind, allowing you to work through and heal issues that have been buried and hidden from your conscious awareness.
