Orthoceras were a cephalopod ancestor to the squid that lived during the Devonian Period, approximately 500 million years ago. Orthoceras were the most advanced invertebrates of their time, capable of bouyancy control by filling or reducing air in the chambers of their shell, and possessing a sophisticated nervous system, eyes, jaws, and even an ink sack like modern day squid.

Each sacred prayer fan is handmade and just as no two feathers are alike so is every fan unique. Sacred prayer fans are a wonderful healing tool with a myriad of uses that can blend with any tradition or background.

Note that tip of Orthoceras has a small chip. This will not impact it's use for healing or energetic purposes, and some consider it an enhancement to the energy for this use.
